Planet Master

187- To The Frontline

187- To The Frontline

“Well, you need to think about who to send. Please consider this carefully.” Tritis reminded.“But I already have people who can tackle this in mind. Don’t worry, not only are they strong but also resourceful.” The corner of Dian’s mouth curled up slightly.

He was confident that with the people in mind, they could accomplish the requirement, even getting bonuses would be viable.

“Uhm, can you add my Star Child too?” Cisor asked Dian.

Dian initially wanted to refuse. The reason was that the latest Star Child retained his status but he was still ultimately a child in mind. Bringing him to the battlefield just as he was taught properly did not sound good.

“That’s something I am not sure of. But let’s talk about it with the other Star Children.” Dian could only reply in this way.

After all, the people and races under him could have their own thoughts and reasoning and he was compelled to at least listen to them.

“Your Excellency, why did you pay special attention to our Master?” Olza asked.

The other three had their eyes brightened since they also wanted to know the reason.

“Because only his Core Race can manage to handle the matter at hand.” Tritis said as a matter of fact. This was something she had confidence in, and the reason she had to help Dian.

The four were amazed as they looked at Dian carefully. Other than his Core Race, which was something different from the others, they could not understand what was so special about Dian’s Core Race.

But after seeing the harsh requirement that Dian needed to fulfill, they thought that the challenge seemed suitable.

“Don’t believe her so easily, you guys. It is still unknown how effective the people I will bring to the Frontline will be against the Outer Being. I mean, I still don’t know about them since I have never encountered them before.” Dian said truthfully.

He often imagined the Outer Being as something terrifying to make sure that everyone would take it seriously.

“Right, right.” Cisor replied in a compliant manner but he had a teasing tone in it.

“We also have never encountered them before. I think it is due to the newbie protection mechanism that Frie talked about.” Olza said.

Dian nodded with a heavy expression. He had a hunch about it since earlier but when Frie came to him with that topic, Dian realized that they were actually protected from real harm.

“Yes. That is why you coming out from the safe zone is something I am still looking for the reason.” Tritis said seriously. Her tone suddenly became a bit grave.

Tritis thought.

“Don’t worry too much. I will send some people of my race to accompany you.” Tritis said.

Dian, Cisor, Halden, Olza and Asta were surprised by this. In their assumption, they were not be able to draw such support from Tritis.

“But Your Excellency, this is a bit overboard. If the other Venerables know about this, wouldn’t they question your move?” Dian was the very first to object.

“Hmph, so what if they did? For my conviction, I will not falter just because of their objection.” Tritis answered in a slightly domineering manner.

Dian thought as he saw that the veil around Tritis was letting out brilliant light.

“Alright. The main issue has been talked about. So what about the deployment to the Frontline?” Asta said while his voice was low.

“Sorry, I just thought that we need to address this issue now.” Asta added.

“Hahaha, you’re right.” Dian patted Asta’s head while remembering the important issue.

“You will be directly under me.” Tritis said seriously.

“You mean, under your legion, directly supervising us?” Halden asked.

The others became totally surprised. The Battle Legion of the Ten Venerables was renowned throughout the Planet Masters’ community.

For Tritis, her legion was akin to the foresight of the entire Legion. Predicting the movements of the Outer Being while minimizing damage.

“Yes. Because only with this arrangement can I ensure your safety while you complete your requirement.” Tritis said.

Dian and the others had to agree that this arrangement was the best. But what they worried about was the freedom of mobility. Would she…

“Don’t worry. I will grant you freedom to act. In other words, feel free to wreak havoc on the Outer Being.” Tritis replied to what had been on their mind.

“Thank you, Your Excellency.” Dian and the other four stood from their seat and bowed.

Then the food and beverages were presented before them and they enjoyed them.

“Hmm. This feeling of your existence power increasing, so good.” Cisor said while not hiding his elation.

“Even though I know what effect the food and beverages have, this still surprises me.” Dian said while lifting the glass of juice.

He still felt the effect of those things on him. He could feel his existence power increasing.

The others also had their existence power increase. Their reaction was no better than Cisor's. It looked like Cisor had them on fumes for so long.

Then they went out of the Don Restaurant since all of the things needed to be discussed were done.

All that was left was to select the candidate individuals who would journey to the Frontline for the first time.

-

Dian and the other four then returned to the Planet Master Space from the Universe Market.

The moment they did so, they spread out and caused the others to look at them as if possessed by something.

Dian then projected himself into the Library of Consciousness.

“This is the summons from me to you.” A thunderous voice reverberated and everyone suddenly dropped what they were doing and looked in the direction from which the voice came.

That included the people who were visiting the Library of Consciousness.

“The Father God has summoned us?” Tatsumi was the first to feel that this was actually a message from Dian to him.

“Looks like we need to answer this.” Ame went to Tatsumi’s side while saying this.

“Everyone should pay heed to this summon.” Tatsumi suggested something that everyone agreed on.

Then Tatsumi was the one who led the others toward the direction where Dian was.

The scenery where Dian was was actually a plain with soft grass, where lying on it would be comfortable.

When Tatsumi arrived at the scene, all he saw was Dian in his human form. Well, it was actually his usual form in the Library of Consciousness.

“Father God, what instruction do you have?” Tatsumi said with a solemn expression and tone. At this time, he knew that Dian was acting as the Father God of humanity and had to be taken seriously.

“I am here to give you the current situation.” Dian said.

“Some of you may be chosen to follow me to the universe battlefield. There, countless races are fighting against what we know so far as an Outer Being.” Dian began his explanation.

“We called that place the Frontline. Of course, the selection is about the strongest transcendent and those with a sharp and witty mind can also follow.” Dian said.

Tatsumi was shocked to hear that. But more than that, there was a fighting spirit in him ignited.

Ame also felt the same. She also wondered about the countless races that Dian mentioned as well as the Outer Being.

“So, who will be chosen?” Tatsumi asked on behalf of everyone.

“Definitely those who are alive. Then the strongest transcendent and then the sharp mind. Then there is also the escort.” Dian explained but he felt reluctant to mention the last sentence.

“Then Ame and I are definitely a few of the chosen ones.” Tatsumi put his hand on his chin as he said this.

‘Then Teacher and Charlene. Should I invite Bore on this? I probably should.’ Tatsumi thought.

‘Looking at him like that, he should be thinking about who he should bring along.’ Ame blinked her eyes as she looked at Tatsumi.

“I think we should bring a dozen people. That number sounds right for a small yet powerful group.” Tatsumi said to Dian.

“Explain.” Dian gave Tatsumi the opportunity to give his reasoning.

“We need some manpower to handle some miscellaneous things while we handle things with the so-called Outer Being.” Tatsumi knew that the Outer Being was a formidable opponent, judging from how Dian wanted to form a group to handle this.

If even countless races fought against the Outer Being, this new threat should be considerable enough that even the Father God would be wary. But for Tatsumi, this was an opportunity to test his own transcendent path so far and he hoped that he could glean the transcendent path of other races.

‘This is a rare opportunity after all.’ Tatsumi thought with a bit of wariness and even a bit of happiness that he could see even the higher form of transcendence.

“Fine.” Dian sighed. Even though his plan was for only the core group to go with him, but with the way Tatsumi said it, it was better to be safe than sorry.

Furthermore, their own people were more trustworthy in keeping things to themselves when they looked at the vast world outside.

“I can accommodate a dozen of you. Have you decided on who?” Dian asked Tatsumi.

“Well, me, Ame, Charlene, Teacher Long Wu, Bore, and the rest can be discussed.” Tatsumi said with a serious tone.

“So the seven members have to be carefully chosen.” Ame said while thinking about the suitable candidate.

“How about each representative from the other race to be included? Can that be arranged?” Tatsumi then turned to look at Ame.

He hoped that some races under the Federation would be suitable to learn things beyond their own perception.

“Hmm, that can be done.” Ame said slowly. Then she added, “But they have to be of help even a little and not just a burden.”

“Of course. From various races, we’d better select those with sharp minds and able-bodied.” Tatsumi stated the requirement.

“I see. Not only can they help with menial tasks, but they can also help Sister Charlene.” Ame knew that Tatsumi had considered this aspect and that was why she felt touched.

Although it was for Charlene, Ame knew that Tatsumi was thinking for their sake as well as his own. He also wanted to let others know about countless races outside their own world.

“Of course, if they are strong transcendent that is a good bonus.” Tatsumi added the last requirement.

“That is not mandatory, right?” Ame asked.

The others could only start searching for a suitable candidate. Even Tatsumi had to go back to the living world to inform the Federation of the need for a small group expedition for Father God’s sake.

Due to that, the Federation frenziedly searched for suitable candidates.

-

In the realm of the living, Cerulean Planet, Comberth Continent, Giol City.

The selected candidates had arrived in the city and came to the Multipurpose Building.

Tatsumi, Ame, Charlene, Long Wu and Bore had already stood on the podium where they could see the seven candidates who had undergone strict screening.

The five of them looked at the candidate with a serious look before saying the purpose of the small group.

“Are we going to the Universe along with countless races?” was a question for which the answer was obvious.

“Yes. Specifically, we are going to the Frontline. Well, the Frontline of countless races that fight the Outer Being that is.” Tatsumi explained.

As for what the Outer Being was, even Tatsumi could not answer that. It was because the information given was limited that all he could say was that the Outer Being was likely a formidable opponent of the strong civilization, and they had to help Father God with the task of eliminating them.

“So are you prepared to do everything for the mission?” Tatsumi asked with a firm tone.

“Yes, sir!” the seven answered with a firm tone.

They were spared from extinction by the grace of the Father God. Even their gods were in the care of the Father God himself that they had to be thankful for. Their eyes were fiery as if a flame was set on them.

“Good. Gather around me, now.” Tatsumi had heard about the teleportation to the location but he had a disbelief expression at that time.

Now that he had to do it, he did it with a firm expression and conviction. That the Father God would help with the rest of the journey.

Then the seven joined the five. The group consisted of a dozen individuals who would go to the Frontline with the permission of Dian and Tritis.

In the Planet Master Space, Dian was ready to go. He delegated his main duty to Frie since she was the next most capable.

“Master, you need to be careful on the Frontline.” Frie said with a cautious tone.

“I know. I will. And those who follow me, I will make sure they are safe.” Dian replied seriously.

Then he used some energy points to teleport the group from the Cerulean Planet to this place directly.

A brilliant light pillar appeared, and then a dozen individuals appeared.

“This is…is it God’s Domain?” Tatsumi could see the figure of several familiar presences and realized that they were the god of numerous races under the Federation, including the Father God.

The almost sickening white ground and ceiling, or was it sky? Caused him to feel unwell but he held it. The others fared no better but Tatsumi let out a soft Ether to the others, soothing their restless heart.

“Did you just say God’s Domain?” Bore looked around and caught a familiar figure. The Great Rat God.

“Well, for you, that might as well be right.” Dian said and the others turned their head to look at him.

“To be able to be present in your personal domain, we are flattered.” Tatsumi kneeled as he said this.

The others followed despite not quite understanding the place they were in.

“I will bring you people, to the Frontline. That is where you need to help me. After all, your development can affect me and my development affect you.” Dian sighed as he said this.

Tatsumi blinked as he was inwardly shocked.

‘So it is true that the human race and the Father God has a relationship akin to a business partner.’ Tatsumi thought.

‘Interesting.’ Charlene thought.

‘So the Father God’s development affects us, and our development affects Him.’ Ame carefully thought about this relationship and realized that it was true due to some signs of it in history.

But overall, the group felt a sense of awe, which pleased the Planet Masters there.

“Understood.” Tatsumi nodded as he looked at the group. He looked carefully at their eyes and the minor movement of their expressions. He could see that they were excited but there was a small fear about what was about to happen.

“I will be with you.” Dian said which surprised the group.

“In your current form?” Charlene asked.

“Yes. Is that a problem?” Dian tilted his head and asked back.

“No. It is just that you will be seen as not majestic anymore.” Charlene replied.

“Heh, that doesn’t matter, does it? You know that only a minority truly worship me which is good.” Dian said nonchalantly, even knowing the meaning of his words.

Tatsumi nodded, as if expecting this to be the case while Charlene had a realization expression on her face.

“Let’s go. Time is pressing and our sponsor is also tight on time. Now, the group should get as close to me as possible.” Dian gestured for the group to get closer to him.

“Just like before.” Tatsumi went to the right side of Dian while Charlene and Ame went to Tatsumi’s front and back sides. Bore took Dian’s left while Long Wu was in front of Bore. The seven then surrounded them.

Then Dian issued a command.

“Specific Teleport: Stargate 007. Venerable Tritis Special Takeover.” Dian said.

[Specific Command Received. Teleportation began in 5…]

Dian then looked at everyone; everyone here meant the other former Planet Masters. His gaze showed that he trusted them to handle things while he was away. He also took a look at Frie and she glanced back at Dian, nodding.

Then Dian looked at the group. The people selected were remarkable in that they were insightful and also strong.

[2…1…teleportation began.]

Then a golden light formed a cylinder that perfectly enveloped Dian and the group before slowly teleporting them to the specific region.

The group felt that their bodies were not theirs anymore, frowning in pain. Dian also felt a pull that caused a bit of inconvenience. But overall, this kind of teleportation would not kill them.

Then the teleportation was completed because the Planet Master System announced it in its prompt.

[Teleportation Complete.]

Dian and the group then felt the ground on their feet, and they confidently stood and stabilized themselves.

“That’s new to you, right?” Dian asked the group.

The group nodded while looking around with their eyes. The surroundings were foreign to them but had a feel of advanced technology all over the place.

“Father God, where are we?” Tatsumi had to ask since Dian was probably the individual who knew.

“We are on Stargate 007. This is the farthest place in the entire Universe Field since it is near the Frontline.” Dian explained all he knew.

“Uhm, Universe Field. Is it the cumulative of numerous universes forming a large entity and causing a qualitative change to the world?” Charlene asked.

“Right. I should explain to you all your current position in the Universe Field.” Dian almost forgot that his races were still ‘primitive’ in the face of the Universe Field and the Planet Master System.
