Chapter 95: Chapter 94- Reward

Austin heaved a sigh as he finally defeated the Golem.

In the game, it took him three attempts to defeat the monster by himself.

However, in real life, only one attempt was hefty, and Austin didn't have to retort on attacking the monster's weak points to win.@@@@

'That Kinetic Charge was quite overpowered...' He looked at his charred fist and could feel the lingering energy still pulsating.

His arm wasn't broken, but a few fingers were dislocated.

For a moment, Austin felt he could even defeat God with that much strength...however, he soon realized he was overestimating himself.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt?" Valerie appeared before him; very carefully, she lifted his hand and took out a vial of cooling potion.

However, the moment she dropped it,

**SSSZZ**

The liquid turned into mist and evaporated instantly.

"Ahaha...it's not that bad."

Valerie believed him...not.

Parting her lips, she used her Soul energy before blowing cold breathe over his burnt hand.

"Ah..." Austin winced as the cold sensation assaulted him and provided him relief.

He...might have pushed himself a little there, but there was no better method to defeat the enemy.

Seeing the cold wind directing from her lips, Austin was suddenly reminded of something, which he casually revealed,

"You know Val, why did I name my dagger Frostfang?"

Valerie slowly lifted her eyes and stopped blowing over his wounded arm.

With a warm smile, he said, "Because I wished to awaken an element as cool as yours."

Valerie's eyes widened slightly. She knew that he had named his Soul Shard but never did she expect him to name it with such an intention.

He approached the tree followed by the two.

The only reason Austin chose to face the monster alone—despite having Valerie by his side—was his knowledge of its abilities.

Lately, he had come to embrace difficult battles, but this time, his decision wasn't just about the challenge. He didn't want two S-ranks clashing at once.

After all, the monster could adjust its strength to match its opponent

Now, since Austin was B-rank at most, the golem easily adapted to the strength level and might have won if only Austin didn't have that cheat ability of Kinetic discharge, which made him a high ranker in that single moment—taking the monster by surprise.

*Crunch*

The moment Austin's hand landed on the tree, its trunk began to wither, and turn grey.

The leaves began to fall, and the trunk became grey and dry as husk.

Austin removed the obstacles before his eyes landed on the source which would pacify the situation between Drenovar and Eryndor.

"It's...beautiful..." Valerie muttered as she looked at the flower.

It was a red blooming flower with three large petals, growing from the ground and radiating an ethereal glow. Each petal shimmers with a deep, almost otherworldly luster as if holding the glow of embers within.

Austin heaved a sigh, 'In reality as well, I will only get three vials of the potion.'

He carefully began tearing the petal, and told Sebastian, "Can you start boiling some water?"

"Yes, right away." Sebastian went back to the camp before bringing the small stove and a wide pot filled with water.

Austin carefully released the petals in the boiling water and saw it burning, yet no flames appeared.

The color of the water changed, taking a pretty crimson shade, as it got mixed with the water—becoming a potion worth billions of gold coins.

Once the petals completely got dissolved, Austin took out a vial from his pocket, before, with Sebastian help, he carefully poured the liquid in the vial.

Looking at the crimson fluid resting inside, Austin muttered, "We might save Eryndor from its possible doom with this."
