Reacting to Nerssia's cue, the other airships began charging their weapons—ready to fire.

A peculiar blue glow could be seen forming on the tip of their barrels.

Similar to the shells from the turrets—the energy coming from these airships' weaponry was equal if not deadlier. Even some of the more robust airships, let out drones, blocking the sky with their sheer numbers.

If the legion of Angels was bombarded by them, it would be quite catastrophic.

However, the leading Angel smiled from underneath his hood.

"Arrogant still as the first time we met, Admiral," He mused—raising his gaze to stare directly at Nerissa. His yellowish ash-colored eyes were glowing with a hint of excitement. "But don't think that nothing could stop you because this time, it's my turn to let you taste defeat!"

Upon hearing this, Nerissa squinted, realizing who the leading Angel was.

He was Calignar, an Angel she fought against recently.

Realizing who it was, she scoffed and signaled the airships to ready their weapons.

In a union, the pilots poised their thumbs on the fire button.

"So it's you," Nerissa muttered—smiling mockingly. "We know that you Angels are attempting an expansion for your makeshift Heaven. But, with me here, that is not going to happen. Also, this time I'll make sure you can't escape"

Not wasting more words, she signaled to fire ruthlessly.

Just before any of the airships could begin their bombardment, something happened.

Suddenly, the water surface beneath them exploded, creating a towering water column.

Nerissa frowned, and she realized a figure that caused all of this.

Catching the figure cutting through the air like a glimpse of light, Nerissa'ss eyes widened.

But in reflex, she maneuvered to the side, dodging the figure barely.

Swish...!

After narrowly dodging the figure, the wind generated by its high-speed passage grazed her entire body like a tempest—deepening the frown on her face as the figure was as fast as her if not faster.

KABOOM!!

Following that, the deafening roar of rapid explosions echoed from above.

She could feel the concussive blasts reverberating through the air.

Upon looking over her shoulder, Nerissa found that the airships above her were obliterated in the blink of an eye—and not one of them remained. It happened in a fraction of a second and she couldn't react properly.

"All of them are reinforced heavily..." Nerissa muttered in shock.

Bound in a state of disbelief, knowing full well how strong the airships were, she continued in a hushed tone, "Even ninth-rank realm attacks wouldn't be able to destroy them that easily— whoever flew past me should be very strong"

Not stopping at that, the figure soared higher—aiming at the massive mothership above.

A devastating amount of energy coalesces around its body.

Like a meteor of dark holy energy, spiraling viciously—the figure collided with the protective barrier of the mothership. A deafening explosion ensued, and the resulting shockwave went rampant, blasting everything in the surroundings.

Even Nerissa herself needs to protect herself from the shockwave.

A kaleidoscope of colors struck her vision—as the figure's dark hole energy, clashed against the massive mothership's protective barrier. Despite the barrier's resistance—the figure was not backing down, continuing to press on relentlessly.

Garnering even more power with a cold look, it propelled itself forward like an arrow.

Such a display was shocking for even the legion of Angels itself.

As the situation receded, and Nerissa, glanced back at the mothership—she gritted her teeth in fury when she found that the protective barrier—cracked from one attack. Equipped with a very strong barrier, as strong as a tenth-rank realm, the fact that it cracked was surprising.

It spoke significance that was impossible to ignore.

Recognizing the Angel that caused this, Nerissa's eyes bulged and her aura turned intense.

Compared to Calignar, this Angel was more monstrous in appearance and aura.

President Sebrof accepted the call, he put on an earpiece before connecting the call to it.

However—as soon as he did that, he was greeted by Gilbert's wavering voice.
