Inside the War Ground, Kent searched swiftly through the northern resting structure. He ignored the broken treasures that lined the walls and focus on finding resources.

"Time is the cruellest enemy. Everything here is a witness of what it once was. Sadly, everything was lost in time." Kent muttered while staring at the broken and soiled treasures.

Suddenly Kent heard a faint whisper close to his ear. He hurriedly turned around to see where the sound was coming from. But nothing caught his eye.

His sharp gaze swept over the halls. wild blood-colored trees had twisted their way through the structure, their roots splitting through once-polished floors. Broken relics and decayed treasures lay scattered, dulled by time's relentless decay.

The whispers came again—soft, indistinct, and fleeting. Kent frowned as he heard the whisper from time to time.

"It must be the trapped air. Centuries of stillness can play tricks on the senses." Kent muttered to himself, his tone more reassuring than certain.

Still, his instincts remained on edge as he continued his search.

Kent then moved swiftly through the underground chambers. Hollowed-out weapon racks, strange architectural carvings, decaying talisman, almost everything lost to time.

Attracted by their sight, Kent picked a few treasures. But everything he touched crumbled to dust or failed to yield even a trace of its former essence.

"This place was once a treasure trove," Kent murmured, sadness lacing his voice. "Now, it's nothing but a graveyard."

In a corner of the palace, a particularly large red tree had devoured the walls, its roots coiling protectively around several decayed treasures. Kent approached, brushing his fingers against the bark.

Suddenly he heard the whisper again. This time it was more obvious. "Was it just the air, or something else?" The question irritated him, but he shook it off.

As Kent turned to leave the northern resting palace, defeated in his search, a faint golden rays caught his eye. Hidden behind the sprawling branches of a blood-coloured tree, an ancient painting hung diagonally on the wall.

The tree had grown so wild that it covered nearly the entire artwork, its roots and vines covering the frame like a guardian.

"What's this?" Kent muttered, stepping closer.

"Come to me. I will give you whatever you want." The words were barely audible, but they sent a chill down Kent's spine.

Shaking off the unease, he focused his gaze on the southern resting palace. It lay miles away, in the opposite direction. "The northern palace is a tomb. Let's see if its counterpart has any good things."

His Golden Throne shot forward at blinding speed, the air around him crackling with energy. Below, his pets continued their search despite the growing despair of finding anything worthwhile.

Back at the entrance to the War Ground, the battlefield remained a chaos. Families clashed with desperate ferocity, each vying for dominance. The Stick Family maintained their iron grip over the path to the gates, their supreme wizards unleashing coordinated attacks that sent lesser families scattering.

"Hold the line! No one passes us!" Sony Stick commanded, her voice cutting through the noise like a blade.

Despite their dominance, other families began forming uneasy alliances. They launched joint offensives, their combined might pressing against the Stick Family's defences. The crowd of spectators roared with excitement, the gambling stalls buzzing with frenzied activity.

"Another million on the Stick Family!" shouted one bettor.

---

Amidst the chaos, the Frost Family army stood resolute at the rear. Their formation remained unbroken.

"Princess Lily, we can't just stand here! We're losing ground to the other families." One wizard pleaded, stepping forward,

Another joined in, "Every moment we wait, our chances decline. Where is master Kent? Why isn't he leading us?"

"Patience, Until Kent returns, we hold our position." she said firmly.

"But Princess—"

"I said wait!" Lily snapped, her voice cutting like frostbite.

The wizards fell silent, their faces full of frustration and shame. They didn't understand Kent's absence, but they trusted Lily enough to obey.
