"Uwaaaaahh!! Mama!!" The little girl cried as she rushed towards her mom, who had her arms wide open, prepared to embrace her child while also sobbing.
"Anna! I thought I lost you forever!" Anna's mom said, lifting Anna and strongly embracing her.
Her husband was already gone and her sole reason to live was her ten-year-old kid.
She was already prepared to end her life.

"Boss! I'm here!" Seira exclaimed upon arriving, looking at the terrified young bandit with utter hostility.
"MMPPH!!" The bandit screamed in agony, prompting Seira to slightly wince as she imagined how painful that power-slash-empowered whip was.
"Come on!! Talk!! Tell me the answers to my questions!!" Shye shouted at the top of his lungs with every ruthless whip strike.
Angry as she was at the bandit, Seira couldn't help but speak out after realizing the injustice the bandit was suffering.
The guy was basically being bullied.
"B-Boss! How can he answer if you haven't asked anything? And how could he talk if he's still gagged?"
"Hmm? Oh, you're right. You!! Why didn't you say anything when you're suffering such injustice?! This should teach you to speak like a man! Hyaah!

Hearing her boss' words, she finally realized that Shye was venting and that the interrogation hadn't truly begun yet.
However, just when Shye removed the young bandit's gag to start the true interrogation, the duo was dumbstruck as the young man suddenly desperately uttered his subsequent words.
"Good. Second question, how strong are the leading figures of your group? Elaborate in terms of adventurer ranks."
"R-Reporting to the supreme boss. Boss Conn-Thor is as strong as a veteran emerald-ranked adventurer. Although his strength is still far from a diamond's he is stronger than the average emerald-ranked adventurers." The young man honestly replied in hopes of surviving his current predicament.
"Below him are the two vice-leaders, the twins Arven and Arsel, both as strong as peak ruby or low-emerald adventurers. Lastly, there are the ten squad captains, all of them as strong as low rubies!"
As the lesser orb of truth turned blue, Seira couldn't help but gulp nervously.
With how strong she currently was, she could at least fight on equal footing against the ten squad captains—possibly even overpower a few of them.
However, she would undoubtedly croak when faced with the two vice-captains.
Hopefully, her boss could pull out another miracle, otherwise, they're toast.
"Good answer. Third question, do you have a map of your lair?"

Seeing that the orb once again turned blue, Shye nodded satisfactorily.
Meanwhile, the young bandit was utterly unsatisfied.
'Didn't you say you were color blind?!' The bandit inwardly raged, not daring to voice his thoughts out for fear of getting slapped.
"Last question, are the young girls still alive? If so, where do you guys keep them?"
"A-Answering the supreme boss! M-Most of the young girls are still alive and are held hostage at a small makeshift prison inside the lair. However, I don't have any idea about the fate of those who have been summoned to the leader's room!"
The bandit didn't dare lie once, hence, Shye thought that he should reward the guy.
"Good, good, good! Since you've been very cooperative. I shall not make things hard for you. In fact, I'll even reward you."
Grabbing something inside his fake spatial bag, hope burgeoned within the young bandit's heart.
Unfortunately, Shye's reward for him was a quick death instead of a slow and painful one.

Before the young bandit and Seira could even react, a head suddenly flew through the air, causing blood to fountain out of the headless neck.
