Chapter 249 The mighty wizard Harry faces trial

Picking up where we left off, just as Scarface was about to turn around and fight back, the dark magic spell suddenly reversed direction, bypassing Harry and shooting straight at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore remained calm, lightly tapping his wand against his own chest and chanting, "Protect yourself."

As soon as the incantation ended, a magical barrier suddenly appeared in front of him, like the moon reflected in an autumn pool, subtly swirling.

The curse came with undiminished force and crashed into the magical barrier in the blink of an eye.

Unexpectedly, this evil curse did not burst forth like an ordinary spell, but instead turned into a thick black mist with a "sizzle" sound, like butter being fried in a hot pan.

The black mist grew as soon as it was exposed to the wind, and in just a moment it enveloped Dumbledore from head to toe like an iron barrel, forming an ink cocoon.

Just then, a strange "crackle" sound came from the road, and a crack about ten feet long appeared out of nowhere in the ground.

The air was thick with gloom, like the gates of hell; it was bottomless, like the entrance to hell itself.

As if recognizing its way, the black cocoon "whooshed" down from the crevice.

Before Harry could even call out, the crack in the ground slammed shut on its own with a loud crash.

This passage, though lengthy in its description, occurred in a short time. Looking again, where was even half a hem of Dumbledore's robe?

Harry thought to himself: What bad luck! That scoundrel has come up with such a wicked plan to trap the professor elsewhere.

Such self-awareness suggests that he was either sent by Voldemort, that bald bastard, or by Grindelwald, that old man.

After reciting the words, his body transformed into a cloud of black mist, causing the illusory figure to shrink and disappear.

When he reappeared, he was already standing in the living room.

Upon closer inspection, they saw a wizard wearing a full hood and a black robe, holding a magic wand and looking up at the hole in the roof.

Moonlight streamed through the hole, casting a dark shadow over him, but no one could be seen inside the hood; it remained completely black.

Harry thought to himself: What a cautious fellow. He must have used some kind of disguise spell.

He quietly tightened his grip on the hilt of the knife and shouted, "You scoundrel! Take this curse!"

After Harry finished drinking, he unleashed another Crucifixion spell at the head of the man in black robes with his wand.

On the surface, it appeared as if a curse was aimed directly at his face, but in reality, he secretly drew the dagger at his waist, and the blade silently circled around to the back of the man's neck.

The real tactic is: to openly repair the plank road while secretly crossing the Chencang pass.

These two deadly moves, one overt and one covert, were unleashed like wind stirring up clouds, and within a few breaths, they were behind the man in black robes.

Just as the dagger was about to sever the head, the man in black robes seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, suddenly tilting his head to the side and swaying his body.

The curse flew past his waist, and the monk's knife grazed his neck, slicing through nothing but half a corner of his black robe.

Seeing this, Harry realized that this guy already knew he had the ring knife, and he became even more convinced that it was a shrewd person sent by Voldemort or Grindelwald who knew him inside and out.

The man in the black robe dodged the knife curse and immediately raised his wand high towards Harry.

The two took a breath, about to chant the incantation, when suddenly there was a loud "bang," and a dusty gray owl crashed in through the window.

The beast cried out in pain, and its two magic wands exploded with a burst of green light.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Ultimate Avada Kedavra!"

Before the two shouts had even finished, two emerald-green incantations collided like two dragons vying for a pearl.

The room was filled with billowing green flames, casting a dim and eerie glow on the beams, pillars, doors, and windows.

The light shone through the broken windows and rotten rafters, shooting straight into the sky, and the eaves of neighboring houses within a radius of several miles were all dyed with a layer of blue-green color.

Upon witnessing this extraordinary phenomenon, the neighbors hurriedly peered out from behind their windows to see what was happening.

A green light flickered inside house number four on Privet Road, illuminating the night clouds and changing their color.

The scarred man only needed to fight the man in black robes once to feel a tremendous force on the staff, which made his arm bones go numb.

He thought to himself in shock: Damn it! This guy is really something, even better than all the Voldemors I've encountered in the past four years!

Could he be one of Grindelwald's generals?

As he was pondering this, the owl that burst into the house was so frightened by the ferocious scene that it went mad.

Suddenly, a wave of magical energy swept over it, causing its eyes to roll back and its wings to droop, plummeting down like a kite with a broken string.

Its claws loosened, and a letter fluttered down, falling precisely from above Harry.

The letter just happened to float past my eyes, and on the cover I could see the Ministry of Magic's wax seal glowing blue.

Harry frowned and snatched the letter from mid-air.

With a sudden, powerful jerk of his right wrist, he severed the momentum of the attack, causing a phantom to vanish into black smoke.

When he reappeared, he had already flashed to Dali's bedroom on the second floor.

He hurriedly opened the letter and saw that it was filled with tiny, densely packed words, listing one case after another, with irrefutable evidence.

He was accused of using magic outside of the magical realm, thus violating the "Law on Reasonable Restraint of Underage Wizards".

It was also said that he did not conceal himself when casting spells, which attracted stares from his Muggle neighbors, thus violating the Wizarding Secrets Act.

Finally, with a sharp vermilion pen, he was sentenced to be expelled from Hogwarts immediately. Shortly afterward, a law enforcement wizard came and broke his wand to convict him.

Harry was scanning the document when he suddenly heard a loud "boom," and the wall covered with toy models exploded open.

Splinters of wood flew everywhere, dust obscured vision, and from the billowing gray fog, a dozen or so firefly-like spells shot out, aiming straight for Harry's vital points.

Seeing the spell coming, the scarred man did a somersault and rolled to the window, slapping his wand against the floor.

With a "whoosh" sound, a wooden wall about three feet wide suddenly rose from the crack in the ground, just like a waterfall hanging upside down.

The countless spell points collided with it, crackling like raindrops hitting lotus leaves, and all turned into green smoke.

Just as I was still reeling from the shock, a dark, shadowy object suddenly swooped in from outside the window and slammed right into the glass.

What do you think this thing is? It's just another owl!

The owl crashed so hard that it immediately went limp and slid down against the window frame, unconscious.

The letter beneath his feet moved on its own without wind, unfurling in mid-air with a "whoosh," folding into a wide mouth, and suddenly bursting out McGonagall's voice.

"The Ministry of Magic has no right to expel a student from Hogwarts. Protect your wand, Mr. Potter!"

"I'm already on my way to the Ministry of Magic."

Before the letter was finished, another golden spell shot in from outside the window, like a dragon waving its tail, striking the roaring letter squarely.

With a loud "rip," the letter instantly turned into hundreds of pieces of paper, and the windowpane shattered into dust, heading straight for Harry's face.

Harry used Apparition again to hide, and when he reappeared, he was suspended in mid-air. He saw the man in black robes walking swiftly on the rooftop.

He immediately pointed his wand downwards and shouted, "Soul Lock!"

With a "clatter," more than a dozen dark iron chains burst forth from the tip of the staff, each with barbs and hooks at the end, twisting towards the man in black robes from all directions.

Thirty to fifty people from the neighborhood had already gathered, staring in disbelief. Some of the bolder ones even clapped and cheered.

Seeing that things were not going well, the man in black robes turned and jumped down into the hole in the roof.

Harry was secretly delighted and exclaimed, "What a lucky escape!"

It turned out that he had already hidden the monk's knife in the house, and seeing this opportunity, he was eager to act.

The dagger whistled as it pierced the hole, aiming to take the man's head.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Suddenly, a whistling wind arose in mid-air, and an owl swooped down, throwing a letter at my face.

Harry's vision blurred for a moment, his mind was slightly distracted, and the momentum of the ring knife slowed down by half.

In that instant, a dark shadow flashed beneath the hole, and the figure in black robes vanished without a trace.

Harry's forehead veins bulged, his eyelids twitched wildly, he grabbed the letter, tore it open, and roughly swept it.

The letter came from Wizengamo, who claimed that Wizengamo was skilled in black magic and, relying on his illustrious reputation, acted like a black wizard, which might corrupt the morals of the world.

It is appropriate to arrest and prosecute them, and to hold a trial.

Harry glanced at it hastily, crumpled the letter into a ball, and, enveloped in billowing black smoke, plunged down through the hole in the roof, yelling, "You dog, don't run away! Come and fight your grandpa Harry three hundred rounds!"

The man in black robes had indeed not fled far, and the two fought fiercely in the house.

But what could be seen was: in the living room, the cursed light darted about like silver snakes; in the bedroom, dark shadows seemed to be two ghosts fighting in an abyss; in the kitchen, pots and pans clattered and rattled; and in the bathroom, the screen mirror shattered like snowflakes.

Just as the two were fighting in the restaurant, a cry suddenly came from outside the window. A white owl appeared, breaking through the clouds and fog, carrying a letter in its claws, and swooped down towards the window.

Harry could no longer contain himself and roared in fury, "Sister, help me!"

Before she could finish speaking, the pendant around her neck snapped open, and a emerald figure shot out.

Nagini revealed its true form in mid-air, its scales gleaming like iron under the moonlight, and burst through the window like a blue dragon emerging from the sea, rushing towards the owl.

The owl was so startled by the sight of such a huge creature that its eyes widened in shock, and it tried to stop but couldn't.

Nagini opened its blood-red maw in mid-air and with a "snap," swallowed the owl whole. Then, with a flick of its long tail, it stirred up the wind and clouds and flew straight into the depths.

Nagini soared into the sky for hundreds of feet before slowly opening his mouth.

The owl was so frightened that its bones went limp and its muscles went weak. It completely forgot the letter under its claws and, like a startled bird, flew north without looking back.

Only the Muggles watching the commotion around them were stunned into silence.

When they watched the Scarface fight the man in black robes, all the Muggles thought it was a magic trick.

Now that they've seen Nagini's true form, who would still dare to entertain such delusions?

With a loud "whoosh," the Muggles scattered in all directions, crying out in terror, "It's a monster!"

"Call the police immediately! An unknown creature has invaded our community!"

"The Dursleys must have been murdered! No! They're the ones who brought these monsters here!"

It is:

Three urgent letters arrived, each urging a response; then, a single word, "Sister," revealed her divine power.

A blue dragon swallowed an owl and soared into the sky, terrifying the bewildered people in the street.

The street was in complete chaos when suddenly three or four cracks appeared in the asphalt. From within, a ghostly light flickered, and a white figure slowly rose up.

When the dust settled, an old man with white hair and beard landed gracefully; it was none other than Dumbledore, whom Black Cocoon had just dragged into the ground.

How could any Muggle in the area have ever seen such a scene?

Having already been terrified by the birth of the Azure Dragon, he was now utterly dumbfounded by the sight of the earth splitting open and people emerging from it.

Those with quick legs dragged their children along like stray dogs, while the timid ones had already knelt down and kowtowed repeatedly.

One was shouting "Satan has descended to earth," while another was trembling and chanting "Lucifer has come to earth," and the whole street was filled with ghostly wails and howls.

Dumbledore, however, seemed not to see or hear anything. In the blink of an eye, he turned around and silently stood behind the man in black.

With a single downward swipe of his wand, the man in black felt as if a thousand-pound mountain had crushed his chest, his spine felt like it was about to break, and his knees buckled, causing him to fall forward.

In that instant, the man in black robes bit the wand into his mouth, and half a mumbled incantation burst out between his teeth.

With a loud "boom," the limbs and body exploded apart.

Amidst the billowing blood mist, only a head could be seen spurting three feet of blood from its neck cavity, shooting straight out the door and disappearing into the night.

Harry dashed off after him, but it was pitch black all around, and he could not find any trace of the flying head.

He immediately looked up at the sky and shouted, "Sister, don't let the thief escape!"

Nagini quickly turned the dragon's head from mid-air, then said blankly, "I can't see his soul."

Upon hearing this, Harry's heart sank, knowing that this must be the ancient monster Voldemort had dug out of that ditch.

Seeing the anger on his face, Dumbledore patted him on the shoulder and reassured him, "That guy's magical skills are very strong, it's normal that he got away."

After saying this, he pointed his wand high into the sky and said, "Forget everything."

Immediately afterwards, the tip of the stick burst open with a "whoosh" and burst into countless golden stars, just like a firework for the Lantern Festival.

As if recognizing people, Venus rustled into the heads of the fleeing Muggles.

Anyone touched by Venus would momentarily freeze in their tracks, then stand still in a daze and head home on their own.

Taking advantage of the moment, Nagini leaped from mid-air, transformed into human form, walked up to Harry, and slipped a letter into his hand.

"Harry, this is the letter that the owl just handed me."

Harry took the letter and looked at it; two sealing wax stamps were clearly visible on the envelope. The one on the left was from the Ministry of Magic, and the one on the right was from Wizengamot.

With a sullen face, he picked up the letter, pointed to the damp corner, and spat, "This Ministry of Magic is full of useless bastards; you can't even find a dry piece of paper here."

"It's likely that while that filthy idiot was fast asleep at his desk, he drooled onto this document."

Upon hearing this, Nagini's ears turned bright red. Her eyes darted around wildly, and she twisted the hem of her dress with her slender fingers.

Harry, oblivious to the unusual occurrence, tore open the envelope and found that the letter inside had completely erased the previous verdicts of expulsion from school and destruction of his wand.

Instead, he was ordered to appear in court on a later date for a joint trial by the Ministry of Magic and Wizengamot, where a final verdict would be reached.

After reading the letter, Harry felt a surge of anger rising to his head. He tore the paper into countless pieces and cursed, "What a load of crap! A bunch of lazy bums who only know how to collect their paychecks! Time and again, they let that feathered beast ruin my plans, and they even have the nerve to suck their own lip!"

Dumbledore remained silent, simply pointing his wand at the scrap of paper. The paper, like willow catkins flying backward, instantly gathered together and returned to its original state, landing steadily in his palm.

He skimmed over the main text, then paused at the signature at the end of the page.

Finally, he tucked the letter into his sleeve and turned to Harry, saying, "I'll handle the trial for you. Don't forget I'm the Chief Justice of Wizengamor; they'll definitely want me involved."

"I think the most important thing to deal with right now is to figure out which wizard Voldemort has resurrected this time."

Harry sneered, "Who cares what ancient tomb that scoundrel dug up this time! Since he's come to provoke me, I'll make him pay!"

Having said that, he swung his wand sharply into the air and roared, "Protect the Gods!"
