Star Wars: Escape from the Jedi Temple Begins

Chapter 52 Special Signals, Omega's Use of the Force

Chapter 52 Special Signals, Omega's Use of the Force

"This special frequency band... is a secret distress signal that the Jedi only use in crisis situations."

Ahsoka, holding the signal receiver, frowned slightly as he looked at Lance and continued:

"The signal is very weak, and we can't pinpoint the exact location, but the general area should be on the other side of the planet."

Lance stroked his chin thoughtfully.

The secret distress signals used by the Jedi are very special; they can be hidden in radio waves and can only be identified through special devices.

But any secret can be leaked, especially since the Empire has already occupied the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

They might find hidden confidential documents and learn this secret.

The chances of finding that document among millions of files in an archive are extremely slim.

But what if a Jedi voluntarily joins the Empire, or can't endure the torture and reveals their true identity?

Lance was quite certain that the Empire would make use of it.

Palpatine knew the Jedi too well and could pinpoint their weaknesses precisely.

Not to mention Darth Vader, who came from the Jedi.

The empire had no need for torture.

Unless... Darth Vader chooses to keep it a secret.

However, the probability of this is extremely low.

Although the Jedi Order is known for its rigidity and arrogance, it also has its merits. Most Jedi are righteous and dedicated to saving lives; otherwise, their reputation as peacekeepers would not have spread throughout the galaxy.

However, what was once an advantage could now be exploited by the enemy, becoming an excellent way to hunt down enemies in the deadly.

The distress signal could be a trap set by the Empire, deliberately disguised as a stranded Jedi to lure other surviving Jedi to their aid.

In fact, a trap had already been set up there, just waiting for them to take the bait.

Another possibility is that the distress signal was genuine.

Lance's mind was racing, trying to figure out what to do.

Ignore it?

What if someone is desperately waiting for rescue, but loses their chance to escape because of their fear and hesitation, and is killed or captured by the enemy?

Should we take a gamble and investigate?

This may be exactly what the enemy wants, to lure them headlong into a trap they have already set.

Then we'll really have to put on a show like the Calabash Brothers saving their grandfather.

"Lance..."

Ahsoka looked at him and understood his thoughts and worries.

Suck--

Lance took a deep breath, the rust and stench filling his nostrils and making his head spin, but at the same time, it also pulled him out of his jumbled thoughts.

He made up his mind: "Let's investigate. But... things have to be done one step at a time. Let's solve the problem of the Extraordinary Squad first."

"Hmm... I'll do whatever you say."

"Beep beep".

"R2, you don't need to go. If we need to evacuate, you'll have to pilot the spaceship to pick us up."

"Ugh..."

"You just stay in the spaceship and wait for our news. Lance and I are more agile and secretive in our actions."

"Mmm..."

R2 feels rejected...

......

His body gradually merged with the Force, and an unprecedented sense of power filled his entire body.

Lance lightly tapped his toes, and his body suddenly disappeared from the spot.

next moment.

His figure appeared dozens of meters away, as if he had teleported.

"Yuan Qu Sheng Kai is indeed extraordinary."

At that speed, whether they're escaping or fighting, very few people should be able to stop them.

With the added benefit of a powerful Force perception, there's no need to worry about losing control due to excessive speed.

Ahsoka was also getting used to the new Force skills. At first, he was a little clumsy, but with Lance's hands-on guidance, he quickly mastered the techniques.

The two figures flashed continuously as they quickly surveyed their surroundings. Once they confirmed it was safe, they returned to the spaceship.

Several hours later.

A shuttle landed nearby, and Rex stepped out.

He took off his helmet and scanned back and forth between the two men.

With his keen insight, he vaguely sensed that there was something off about the way the two were looking at each other.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

"It won't be long, so it's a good time to get familiar with the surroundings."

"The hunters should be arriving soon."

After several more hours of waiting, the members of the Extraordinary Squad finally appeared.

The Havoc Raider slowly descended, and the hatch opened.

Omega, carrying Gugu, was the first to rush off the spaceship and run to Lance: "Teacher, it's been so long!"

"It has been a while indeed. Have you been diligently practicing?"

"Of course."

As he spoke, Omega hurriedly demonstrated the results of his spiritual practice.

She stretched out a hand toward the pile of metal beside her, closed her eyes, and mobilized her primal force with all her might.

A rusty metal plate wobbled a few times and then slowly floated up, stumbling and bumping.

Lance nodded in satisfaction, feeling a sense of surprise and pride.

From a little girl who had only recently come into contact with the Force to being able to move objects with it, Omega's learning time was not long, not to mention that her Force talent was only at an average level.

To achieve this level of success, it's clear that Omega has put in a great deal of effort.

The metal plate rose to a meter or two, and soon began to fall limply downwards.

Lance raised his hand and the metal plate stopped falling instantly, landing lightly back in its original position.

"Omega, very well done, keep it up!"

Omega smiled brightly upon receiving the praise: "I will, thank you, teacher!"

"We can catch up later, let's get down to business first."

Ahsoka picked up Gugu, teased him a few times, and urged everyone on.

"Come with me."

Rex put on his helmet and led the way.

......

The group entered a huge, decommissioned cruiser.

A small portion of the ship's hull has sunk into the water, valuable equipment has long been removed, electrical wiring is exposed, and the metal walls are covered in rust.

"Be careful in the water, don't go near."

Lance, seeing the rippling water, sensed the enormous creature at the bottom and quickly alerted the others.

"What is that?"

A long tentacle moved along the bottom of the water, and Omega couldn't help but grab Asoka's hand, nervously asking in a low voice.

"It should be a Sharak beast, with a large mouth, sharp teeth, and more than a dozen thick tentacles. It usually uses its tentacles to grab its prey and put it in its mouth. It eats almost anything."

Ahsoka explained patiently.

The moment she saw Omega, she fell in love with this innocent and kind little girl.

Moreover, he was Lance's student.

The group climbed to higher ground and arrived at a broken bridge.

Below is a murky, bottomless pool of water.

The obstacle clearing king peered down from the edge and immediately shrank back: "I'm afraid of heights, can we take another route?"

"This is the only route to the medical bay and the bridge," Rex said, shrugging.

"It's so wide, how are we going to get across?"

The Clearing King still hasn't given up, making a final struggle.

"It's simple, I have a way."

The words fell.

Lance leaped with Force, tumbling through the air before landing firmly on his feet. He turned and shouted:

"Throw the cables over here."

The hunter looked down at the cable at his feet, asked no questions, picked it up, and threw it outside.

Lance raised his hand, caught it with the Force, and controlled it to wrap around a thick pillar: "Just climb over the cable."

The Clearing King shook his head: "You go first, I'll cover the rear."

Rex and the hunters passed through smoothly, but he was still hesitating in place.

"Clearance King, just jump over here, I'll catch you."

"Alright...you'd better catch it safely."

Clear the obstacles and take a few steps back. Then, he pushes forward with all his might and jumps off the edge.

He was still halfway to the other side when his body began to fall.

He closed his eyes in fear and waited for a while, but he did not feel the weightlessness.

The Clearing King opened his eyes and found himself suspended in mid-air, drifting towards the opposite bank.

With his feet firmly on the ground, he patted his chest and exclaimed, "It's great to go on missions with the Jedi!"

"Let's hurry up, the medical room is just ahead."

Rex shook his head silently, feeling helpless that this big guy had a fear of heights.

A dozen minutes later, the group found the medical room.

"Hunter, Technician, you two go restore the power system. Rex, Echo, you two check the condition of the medical bay."
