Sanctuary Starfield Journey

140-40 Mu Yun

140-40 Mu Yun

At noon, Mo Bei sat at the dining table and saw something that looked very familiar: a special evening cocktail.

Mo Bei asked Su Luoxin, who was sitting next to him, "Where did this come from?" Su Luoxin blinked, "A new-new-new Twilight Ball." That really scared me! Luckily, there were three prefixes before it, otherwise Mo Bei would have been mistaken for an idiot again.

Mo Bei looked at the bottle of special concoction, a drink made from a special weather-infused sauce unique to Dusk Planet, mixed with clouds and weathered by wind, rain, thunder, and lightning.

Mo Bei looked up to find Mu Yun, about to say that it was just like the weather above her head, but then learned from Luo Amaya that Mu Yun wasn't feeling well and hadn't come to eat: "Yunyun isn't feeling well and has no appetite." Mo Bei could only secretly save a bottle to take to Mu Yun later.

Mo Bei drank it down in one gulp

A current surged through Mo Bei's body. He remembered: a tree, a river, and a person on a rainy night; a flower, a cloud, and a group of people on a rainy night; a sealed, fragmented memory.

Mo Bei rubbed his forehead with one hand, as if something was forcibly erasing these images, like a smiling shadow wearing a cloak...

Fragments of memories flew by: the throne, Jiu, the solitary confinement room, and finally... Mo Bei.

Mo Bei slumped onto the table. Deng Kaiyang, noticing something was wrong, called Chen Jiahong over and whispered to Mo Bei, "Are you alright, son? I told you this special brew was weird. Just the description was strange enough, saying it could bring back memories..." Mo Bei suddenly looked up and roared, "So awesome! The freshness of nature, and the long-lost sound of rain! Mine! The Ultimate Throne!" Deng Kaiyang looked at Chen Jiahong, as if to say, "Look at this idiot!" Then he poked Mo Bei in the waist with his right hand, making him jump up. "There's something even better." Chen Jiahong shifted his gaze back to the Twilight Ball Special Brew. Deng Kaiyang shook his head. "This kid's hopeless. Let's find another son." Then he drank the special brew.

A tree, a river, and a person, on a rainy night; a flower, a cloud, and a group of people, on a rainy night. A sealed, fragmented existence: a throne, a long time, a solitary confinement room, and finally… Deng Kaiyang (This isn't right, how did he even embark on reincarnation?)

Under the same shadow, the fate of a family; under the same blazing sun, the fate of a region; on the same white land, the fate of a star field. He was a seed that would break through ten thousand rocks…

Mo Bei walked to the door of Mu Yun's room. Beside it was a potted plant with clouds growing on it. Another seed broke through the soil, and the cloud bloomed in the morning sun.

"Mu Yun, I have some good drinks." Mo Bei knocked lightly on Mu Yun's door. Mu Yun slowly opened the door, thanked him, and took the Twilight Ball Special Drink back to her room. Mo Bei asked, "May I come in and take a look?" Mu Yun replied listlessly, "Sure."

Mu Yun's room was simple, decorated primarily with cloud motifs. Everything—the bed, the desk lamp, even the floor—was suspended in mid-air, below which was Su Luoxin's painting of the Perbiji Four-Flower Pagoda. Upon entering, one was greeted by a screen, also formed from drifting clouds. Behind the screen was a sofa, with the screen to the left, the bed to the right, and a desk in front.

Mo Bei cautiously approached the table, as if afraid of falling from its "height." On the table sat Sister Xiao Yunhua… *cough cough*… this crossover is a major flaw. On the table sat Xiao Yunhua, next to a photo of her and Luo Amaya, the photo reflecting the ethereal cloud lamp beside the bed, starlight, and the full moon above.

Mo Bei turned his head and saw Mu Yun lying on the bed, hugging a cloud-shaped pillow, with a few pieces of candy scattered around her.

Mo Bei sat on the sofa, and the twilight ball of special liquor floated into Mu Yun's mouth.

A tree, a river, and a person, on a rainy night; a flower, a cloud, and a group of people, on a rainy night; a sealed, fragmented, and finally… Mu Yun (So, are these three alike? How come they look exactly alike?)

Under the same shadow, the fate of a family; under the same blazing sun, the fate of a region; under the same white land, the fate of a star field; she is a white cloud that rebels against the heavens.

In an instant, the clouds above Mu Yun's head split open, and countless fragments flew out, accompanied by starlight.

Brol sensed something—the oppressive force of the ancient atmosphere… a feeling from 5640976114 years ago. A powerful force enveloped the Destroyer, and then, Mo Bei and Loamaya vanished into thin air.

Mo Bei found himself in a royal palace. Someone nearby muttered something: "An ancient aura has descended!" Then, turning to look at the group, they all gathered in one direction. Just as Mo Bei was wondering what was happening, he noticed Loamaya standing nearby, about to speak before fainting.

The next scene shows a tree, a river, and a person in the rainy night, making a wish: "I hope my daughter is alright." The curtain closes.

The next scene shows a flower, a cloud, and a group of people surrounding a girl with a cloud above her head in the rainy night. They cheer and venerate her as "the hope of the entire family."

Then, a white light flooded my brain, followed by deathly silence, a buzzing sound, and then the cry of a baby.

"I hope she can bask in the clouds..."

"Mu Tianqiong, is this really the way to go?" An old man's voice reached his ears, addressing the man who had just given the name. Mu Tianqiong, his back to the old man, gazed at the high-hanging clouds outside the window, where rain and snow mingled with thunder. He sighed heavily, his right fist clenched tightly, as if making a very difficult decision: "She carries the fate of the Mu family on her shoulders. Although she may die, we must try." Upon hearing this, the old man could say nothing more.

Two years later, the girl whose name means "bathing in clouds" was playing with her 5-year-old brother, Mu Yang. The next day was Mu Yun's 3rd and Mu Yang's 6th birthday. Their family chose a white field full of white flowers as the venue for the celebration, which in the local area symbolizes hope.
