Chapter 97: Time Flies

Chapter 97: Time Flies

"Good afternoon, Ms. Luo Qixi!"

"Um... Good afternoon."

As she walked out of the classroom, Luo Qixi habitually looked up at the sun in the sky. Seeing that it was almost sunset, she nodded gently.

"Classes are over for today... So there aren't any more classes this semester, Miss Luo Qixi?" Another professor walked out of the classroom next door, adjusted his glasses, and slowly said while bending over, "There are quite a few outstanding students at your age."

"This is all thanks to Miss Luo Qixi's excellent teaching skills."

"I think it's because they're very smart." Loki smiled slightly, lifting her staff as she added, "Professor Lola, let's stop here for today. My teacher told me to go home early."

"Is that Principal Sylvania? It's been a long time since I've seen her. Is she unwell? I remember she hasn't grown much in a long time."

"If the teacher hears this, she'll definitely be angry." Luo Qixi smiled and then quickly walked towards the Astronomy Tower.

It is summer of the year 407 in the Jialong calendar. Today is the last day of this semester for Ms. Luo Qixi, who has been working for two years. After today, she will be on vacation and will be able to experience a rare day of rest.

Where will you go this summer vacation?

Are we going to the beach again, like last year?

Last year, I had a pretty good time at the beach with my teacher... Thinking of something, Luo Qixi blushed slightly and then quickly shook her head.

(See the bonus chapter at the end of this volume for details)

On her way back to the Astronomy Tower, she easily took a stack of documents from Vice Principal Genius's office, and then casually picked up her pre-booked dinner from the entrance of the cafeteria.

Carrying these things, she strolled leisurely toward the Astronomical Tower. Although she had just said she was in a hurry, the main reason was that Professor Lola was always trying to introduce Loki to potential partners...

Luo Qixi doesn't want to find a partner... at least not that kind of partner...

And while the teacher says she has something very important to say today, it might just be something incredibly boring... like how her chess skills have improved, or how she's discovered that blood magic can be used to get money back...

In short, Luo Qixi carried a lot of things and slowly climbed up the astronomical tower. When she reached the top of the tower, she only let out a slight sigh of relief.

This isn't her first year living here... she's gotten used to climbing this tall tower.

As Luo Qixi expected, the teacher hadn't gotten up yet, and the coffin lid was tightly closed... However, the teacher had drunk the blood on the table.

Does this mean she got up during the day?

Ever since the teacher said I needed to grow, I've been sleeping a lot these past two years, and my sleep schedule isn't as stable as it used to be. I used to be someone who wouldn't get out of bed until the moon rose.

Slightly disappointed, Luo Qixi pursed her lips and slowly walked to her room, where she ate dinner while looking at the documents.

For some important documents, she would take them out and put them away separately, while for some documents that were just reports, she would sign the teacher's name on them.

Today's documents seemed unremarkable, except that King Richeon of the Kingdom of Lanoa once again invited the teacher to serve as the court magician; most things were the same as usual.

After finishing her documents, Luo Qixi had almost finished dinner. Looking at the moon peeking out of the window, she nodded slightly and then tidied her clothes and hair.

The teacher should wake up soon. Although she didn't wake up as early as she was told, at this point, she certainly wouldn't stay in bed for long.

As Luo Qixi walked out of the room with the documents in her hand, she was somewhat surprised to see her teacher already sitting in a coffin.

Although she still looked a little dazed, at least she had gotten up.

Luo Qixi walked smoothly behind the teacher, reached out to help her style her hair, and while doing so, casually grabbed a robe and tied it on the teacher.

Although she was already quite adept at taking care of the teacher, the teacher still refused to put on her pants... Even though she had seen it many times, Luo Qixi still couldn't help but blush a little.

"Ah...you're back?" Seemingly having recovered her senses, Cinderella spoke slowly. Her voice was still as indifferent as before, but there was a hint of familiarity in her tone.

"Teacher, didn't you say you had something important to say today... so I came back early." Luo Qixi said casually as she gently helped Xidelin up.

"But you're still sleeping in."

"That's because you came back too late." Catherine casually picked up the cup, took a sip of the blood inside, and then slowly said, "I woke up once during the day... and waited for you for a while, but you didn't come back."

"I'll go back to sleep."

"I can't help it, teacher, I have to work during the day," Luo Qixi said, shrugging. "Unlike you... who can sleep in anytime, anywhere."

"Do you think I want to sleep in?" Cinderella yawned, her tone becoming a little languid again, but she still shook her head, forcing herself to be slightly more awake.

"I do have something very important to say today." Catherine paused, coughed, and asked, "How long have you been working at La Noah Magic University?"

"Two years, teacher." Loki nodded gently. "Didn't I graduate in the 405th year of the Ankylosaurus calendar?"

"You must have saved up quite a bit of money these past two years, right?" Cinderella's sudden question startled Loki, who quickly clutched the pocket at her waist and said, "Not much!"

"I'm not going to ask you for it," Catherine pouted. "Is that the kind of expression you get when money is mentioned?"

Seeing Luo Qixi's slightly blushing face, Cinderella paused and slowly said, "So, is the money you've saved enough for you to go on adventures or something?"

"Huh?" Luo Qixi blinked, stunned. "Teacher, what...do you mean?"

"Because it's almost time," Catherine nodded seriously. "I feel it's about time."

"By then...?"

Looking at this student who was still clueless even after all this time, Cinderella shook her head helplessly: "Of course, it's when he's asleep."

"Do you remember when I said I was going to go into a deep sleep for a while?"

Upon hearing this, Luo Qixi pursed her lips. She had thought that her teacher was asleep... but it turns out she wasn't.

"I'm going to go into a deep sleep starting tomorrow night... This sleep might last for three or four years..." Sidrin said slowly, looking at Loki. "So, as agreed... your time as a professor at La Noa Magic University should also come to an end."

"Ah..." Although Luo Qixi had thought about adventures countless times over the past two years, hearing her teacher say this suddenly made her feel a little uneasy...

I'm about to leave my teacher's side...

"It just so happens that the God and Man haven't made any moves in the past few years... He might have given up... But even if he hasn't given up... With your own strength..."

"And the blood core I gave you... there shouldn't be any problems." Cinderella said, looking at the blood-red necklace hanging around Loki's neck.

Then she slowly said, "So it's time to say goodbye, Loki."

"You should leave."
