"You're only making things harder for yourself," Xaden growled when he had done everything he could, and still couldn't make this woman want him back. He was angry now.
"Let's get it done quickly."
Zuri said the same thing again, and Xaden felt his anger rise. His ego was bruised. He was not a saint, obviously, he had been with many women and none of them were as nonchalant as Zuri. They were very receptive to his touch and showed how enjoyable it was to have his cock inside them.
Even though at first, Xaden didn't mean to hurt Zuri, her callousness rubbed his ego in the wrong way and now he wanted nothing, but to subdue her.

And when they arrived at the palace, the royal beta approached them. He guided them toward the garden where the king and the queen were already there, but there was another person
